    Nafea faa ipoipo? / When Will You Marry? / Quand te maries-tu ?, painted by Paul Gauguin in 1892 during his first stay in Tahiti, shows two Tahitian women in a tropical landscape: a young woman wearing a white flower and red pareo in the foreground, and a second woman in Western-style dress behind her. This iconic Post-Impressionist and Symbolist painting became one of the most expensive artworks ever sold when it changed hands for $210 million.
