On first sight, ‘Hate Hatred’ might make for slightly uncomfortable viewing. This provocative modern graphic art piece is inspired by the iconic 1960’s pop art ‘Love’ sculpture by American artist Robert Indiana, but transformed through the challenging lyrics of Bob Dylan's 'It's Alright, Ma (I'm Only Bleeding)'. The result is a juxtaposition of tight typography and freehand anarchic graffiti, creating the four letter word 'hate' raised high upon a plinth of the reversed out word 'hatred'. The typographic combination of 'Hate' and 'Hatred 'attempts to reverse this double negative into a positive, breathing visual life into the Dylan lyric… 'While others say don't hate nothing at all except hatred'

I figured since I got the cheapest of the shirt that it wouldn't hold up to the environment I was going to be in when wearing it. The shirt was soft and the fabric not too thin or too thick and more durable then I would have expected. The colors were good...I would have thought that they would have been a little more vibrant...the colors probably had more to do with the colors of the design then anything but over all I kind of thought it was cool that the printing on the shirt was basically "inked" into the fabric instead of the usage of fabric paint which usually can get warped and crinkled.
