Pennsylvania Railroad Broadway Limited 1929 T-Shirt

The PRR Broadway Limited ran from New York to Chicago via Philadelphia in 20 Hours. The trains schedule was as dependable as a Giant Clock. It was an all Pullman Car Private room Luxury Streamliner The Broadway Limited Passenger Train ran the same basic route mapped out by the Pennsylvania Railroad, which began the service June 15, 1902, as an all-first-class, all-Pullman train. Inaugurated as the Pennsylvania Special, it became the Broadway Limited in 1912, taking its name not from New York's theater district but from the railroad's wide right-of-way of four and even six track main line or broadway. The last Broadway Limited was run by Amtrak on 9/9/1995. The Pennsylvania Railroad was founded in 1846. Commonly referred to as the "Pennsy", the PRR was headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Railroad was the largest railroad by traffic and revenue in the US throughout its 20th Century existence and was at one time the largest publicly traded corporation in the world. At its peak, it controlled about 10,000 miles of rail line. During its history, the PRR merged with or had an interest in at least 800 other rail lines and companies. The PRR corporation still holds the record for the longest continuous dividend history: it paid out annual dividends to shareholders for more than 100 years in a row. For many years the President of the PRR was considered more powerful than the President of the United States. The budget for the PRR was larger than that of the U.S. government and the Pennsy employed approximately 250,000 workers.

Have had Zazzle complete a number of T-shirt projects in the past. This one had several design elements. It was well done. I will work with Zazzle again.

The T shirt seems to be made from decent material but appears to be an irregular t-shirt sewn and stitched. .

The shirt is good quality and fits just fine, but the colors of the printing are not as bright as in the sample photo. Not the best. The colors are a lot brighter in the sample photo; when I received the shirt they appeared faded. The red looks a little more pink and the blue is a lot lighter. N.B. I did not wash the shirt yet.
