Perry's Art Supplies Tee

Perry’s Art Supplies was one of those places you didn’t appreciate until it was gone. The front window stacked with canvases, jars of brushes, sketchpads that smelled faintly of pulp and graphite. It was where every San Anselmo kid bought their first Prismacolors, where budding painters picked up oils they barely knew how to use, and where you wandered the aisles half-convinced that buying the right pen might suddenly make you an artist. Perry’s had that hushed, dusty reverence of a store that felt important—even if you were just there for poster board the night before a project was due. Now it’s gone, like so many other little anchors of town life. This tee remembers the days when creativity started with whatever you carried out in a brown paper bag from Perry’s.
