Persian Peacocks & Flowers Throw Pillow
This elaborate design comes from a block-printed and hand-drawn cotton chintz door curtain crafted in Isfahan, Iran in the Qajar period, sometime in the 1800s, now in the collection of the Cleveland Museum of Art (https://www.clevelandart.org/art/2014.20). Peacocks and other birds appear amid intricate vines with fanciful blossoms in the center field and interior blue-ground border; striking end borders feature blossoms in leaf-outlined diamonds on alternating ground colors of white, mustard, red, and blue. A stunning piece of Persian textile design!

This is one of the most comfortable throw pillows I have ever had. It is so incredibly soft. Everyone in the family fights over who gets to use it, even the dog. Most of the other pillows end up on the floor when she gets on the couch but not this one. She loves it too! The photos turned out great on this pillow. I'd definitely purchase another one.
