This Arab Stallion is one of my 3D mixed medial sculptures, also known as a Model Horse. The Model Horse Hobby is International and it's origins date back to the 1960's. This miniature equine was created using a mass produced plastic toy horse as an armature which was cut, heated, bent and totally remade using epoxy resin. The sculpture was hand finished with acrylic paints, including shading and subtle dapples, and mohair was incorporated for a free flowing mane and tail, to portray a vibrant Egyptian Arabian Stallion.
