Illustration by Cindy Bendel . My dad was a letter carrier for decades before he retired. I have a lot of fond memories from the holiday season. He worked long hours to deliver packages and letters, but he also brought home a lot of treats and cards from his customers. He was well appreciated. He’s been retired for a while now, but it’s become a tradition of mine to make a holiday design each year with a postal theme.
