Many of the names I do in my personalized designs today are done because I initially got a request for a design. This is my eighth series of custom type for names and other text. I have gone for an elegant understated richness in this one, using a plain colour to signify gold – originally made on a rich deep royal blue going towards indigo. Feel free to replace the background with any colour of your choice with the background colour picker. The golden colour of the text goes well with red, green, purple and black, to mention just a few options that are open to you. As the templates I use for this are standardized for names of any size, I apologize if shorter or longer ones might be slightly off balance in some designs. I try to make my templates universal for a series of designs, but it's not always easy, particularly on curved objects like clocks and watches. In some cases, it will look better if you enlarge the name or move it up or down a tad, so please experiment to find the ideal position and size.
