This is a photo of a Japanese Spider Crab I took at the Long Island Aquarium in Riverhead, NY. Notice its curious face and eyes peering at the camera as if he knows I’m taking a picture of him. There are over 4,500 species of crabs, which differ somewhat from their lobster cousins in the way they look. Their typical habitat is in oceans, seas, and estuaries. I took this picture with an iPhone 8+ and used a background remover to focus on the crab.
