An akita brings joy to everyone who is owned by this beautiful breed and this white long coat (wooly) American type Japanese akita is a sweet boy named Yoshi, I painted his triple pet portrait a few years ago and what a pleasure he was to paint because he's got a distinctive akita expression all of his own. Yoshi looks so proud in his "adult" akita portrait, akita's have many expressions and pride is definitely one of them. I titled this triple dog portrait "The Three Ages Of Yoshi" because it's a portrait of a very young puppy akita Yoshi, a teenage akita Yoshi and a full grown adult akita Yoshi, He's such a proud and beautiful akita boy and not only does he look like a white Lion, he has the heart and pride of a lion too.
