Van Gogh began a series of paintings of trees in blossom in the early spring of 1888. He combined some works into triptychs. The orchard triptych, as shown in his sketch, consists of the Pink Orchard, the Pink Peach Tree, and the White Orchard. To his brother Van Gogh wrote, “You know these subjects are among the ones that cheer everyone up.”

I wanted happier curtains in this window so I made a seamless repeat in the things and colors that make me happy and ordered them in this tapestry then made curtain rod pockets. I love how it came out and I can use the fabric to make something else when I’m tired of them. Excellent. The colors are bright and look great the fabric is soft and hangs well.
