Just note, if thinking of getting this for someone else, please ask them first. Reading lips can only account for 30% of spoken English and deciding whether to tell someone that you read lips or not is often strategic. Many of us prefer other tactics to understanding and communicating, such as sign languages, written language (or typed on your phone), or even having you speak up or pronounce different sounds louder etc.
