About This Design

Plumbum Plumbers Mug

Plumbum Plumbers Mug

This is a fun mug to give to the plumber you know as a gift (or buy it for yourself if you are a plumber.) The "P" in the word Plumbum is hanging off the wrench. The word Plumbum is the origin of the word plumber. In Latin "plumbum" means lead. And the Romans had lead pipes. So anyone who worked with lead was called a Plumbum. I did a play on this and below I have "Not A Lazy Plumber" as in some might think a plumber who is a lazy bum is a plumbum. See? This is a gorgeous mug that makes me feel as though I am outdoors in my Hosta garden, on a beautiful day in Spring! The printing is lovely and sharp just like my painting. I shall be displaying this mug at an exhibition soon!

I love these cups!! I'm glad I ordered them and would definitely order from here again. I got 50 cups and they came within a reasonable time frame.

I designed the mug for my sister because the Gauguin painting holds a special meaning for her. It arrived on time and the overall quality of the mug exceeded my expectations. Vibrant colors, true to the original. I just received, so I can't say how the colors will hold up over time.
