Sticker art, sometimes known as Slap Tagging, is a form of street art in which the message is conveyed by stickers. Sticker art is most noticeable in well-trafficked urban areas. Stickers may promote political agendas, comment on a policy or issue, or comprise an avantgarde art campaign. Sticker art is believed to have been created in 1987 by pop.ac (formerly known as Art Collart), a Hamburg artist. However, since then, it has become a worlwide phenomenon giving birth to global slap tagging campaigns like "Obey Giant" and "This is a Heavy Product". Poppy is the first graffiti sticker art inspired Design from the Bad Monkey Crew. This is the first of many that we will be featuring in this collection of unique urban art.
