I remember clearly how my dad would tear up whenever he saw the American flag. I inherited that. The privilege we have living in this country is immense. Is everything wonderful and good? Of course not. No place is that. But we have the best life and possibilities. Do we have to work for the good? Of course. Anything worth having is definitely worth working for, striving to make better. Look for the good, BE the good. Each of us, individuals, make our world better.
