Posthumous Portrait of Ria Munk (1918) by Gustav Klimt is a vintage Victorian Era Symbolism fine art portrait painting. The young woman in the portrait is Maria Munk who committed suicide on December 28, 1911, after the writer Hanns Heinz Ewers called off their engagement. While working on this portrait Klimt himself died, leaving the piece unfinished. It's a beautiful example of his famous portrayals of women and one of his largest portraits. aka Frauenbildnis.
About the artist:
Gustav Klimt (1862-1918) was an Austrian Symbolist painter and one of the most prominent members of the Vienna Art Nouveau movement.

The picture quality is fantastic on these puzzles. They have a high gloss finish and look fantastic. My only complaint is that there is a lot of movement with the pieces compared to regular cardboard pieces. Once compelted there is still a lot of play and pieces can move out of place. The puzzle says 8x10 But was about 1/4, 1/8 shorter on either end. Yes there are some concerns but I would definitely order another puzzle. Print and finish were great
