Prairie dogs are not only cute little animals, they are very affectionate. They require companionship and it won’t take long for a baby prairie dog to bond to you. They need to be either with another prairie dog or you will have to give them as much of your time as possible. They are also very clean animals. A visit to Caprock Canyons in Texas enabled me to grab this shot.
