 * Psalm 51: King David asks God for forgiveness and to wash away his sins. 
 * Romans 10:9: "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved".  Here are the elements of a salvation prayer:  Expressing repentance for sins, Confessing faith in Jesus Christ, Asking Jesus to come into your heart, Asking Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, Giving your life to Jesus, Asking for forgiveness of sins, Asking for a clean heart, Asking for a renewed spirit.
