Pre-Raphaelite Painting by Waterhouse Magnet
This fine art designer photo magnet features a high-resolution, vividly colorful reproduction of the Pre-Raphaelite painting Circe Invidiosa by John William Waterhouse, oil on canvas, 1892. A favorite subject of the artist Waterhouse, Circe was a minor goddess from ancient Greek mythology who appears as a sorceress in the classic epic Odyssey of Homer. Standing amidst a dark forest in long, dark ultramarine blue robes, Circe pours poison from a golden bowl into the waters beneath her feet to transform her rival into a hideous monster. The classic painting reflects the pre-Raphaelite emphasis on brilliant, jewel-like color, decorative patterns, and the painting styles of medieval and early Renaissance art. The Waterhouse magnet is a distinctive addition to the fridge decor of any art lover or fan of Pre-Raphaelite painting.

A beautiful durable magnet for frig. Perfect size and quality made. Colors are vibrant and with black lettering the contrast was so pretty against the sun. A real beauty!

Flexible Photo Magnet,4" x 6"

The 4X6 flexible, photo magnets are very sturdy and high quality. I especially like the rounded edges. Unfortunately, the cuts of the edges are a bit rough and jagged, which you can see in the photo, below. The edges can be trimmed with very sharp scissors but you do risk making the edges uneven. The printing on this project was a little bit fuzzy, the cause of which may be something on my end. I intend to contact customer service to see if there's anything I might do to improve the crispness of the image or if the issue lies with the printing, itself. Also, the product is just a bit darker than the original. Again, I intend to troubleshoot this, with customer service, to be sure where the issue lies.
