Peacock and Dragon was designed by William Morris and originally manufactured in Queens Square and later at Merton Abbey in wool twill. Like most of Morris’ earlier weaves it was woven on a handloom. Morris studied early woven textiles and the Peacock and Dragon design was based on Sicilian silk weaves dating from the 15th and 16th century.

Switch Plate is fantastic quality, thick, solid. Only complaint is that the screws tops are not white to match. I had to paint them myself. Printing is perfect, no complaints.
