In an video interview NSA Whistleblower Edward Snowden said: "The greatest fear that I have regarding the outcome for America of these disclosures is that nothing will change." And he is right of course… Since Snowden revelations came to light, Governments and Mainstream Media have been strongly avoiding answering the obvious questions and focus on a witch hunt shooting the messenger. If we truly care about Snowden, we better focus on the issues at hand and not let go, until these opaque programs put in place to spy on innocent peoples' private affairs and analysis of our collective perception, mind set, designed to stifle free speech and free thought. Increasingly data collected unlawfully without oversight, is used to target people who speak out against governments' policies, as well as serving the commercial interest of the PTB. So what can we do as individuals? We can make others aware of it by wearing it. Send cards or postcards to your representative so they are in no doubt what your views are and demand they act in your interest. If you think operations like Prism is a good idea, please bear in mind that terrorists do not use Facebook to plot and google does not index the deeply hidden forums where criminals lurk. The best way to support Snowden, is by making sure his action makes a REAL difference to our future freedoms.
