What You Call Pro-Life is Really Anti-People Forced Birth Members of Congress show us who they are through their votes. So many Congress members regularly vote against basic women's rights, including but not limited to women's healthcare. While they claim to be voting for morality, they know that federal funds haven't been used for abortion for years. When they claim they're voting pro-life, they're really voting to keep women from getting access to ovarian cancer screenings, maternal health check-ups, and other everyday, basic, reproductive health care. They defund women's healthcare and make it difficult to make reproductive choices while at the same time removing support programs for mothers and children. These votes aren't pro-life, they're anti-people, anti-family and forced birth.
