Sharing a bath with the puppy is part of the fun, and giggles will happen soon. The children and puppy illustration is vivid, warm, and wonderful.
About the Pears Soap "Puppy's First Bath" Advertisement
Pear's Soap produced some of the most beautiful advertising art in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The soap advertiser very often depicted children with their dogs, ready for bath. This Pear's Soap Puppy advertisement is from 1895. This advertisement is in full color, which was very expensive to do, and also appeared as a black and white drawing in some magazines.
