R8 Rattlesnake Head Square Paper Coaster
This is a pale Montana rattlesnake and although it's bite is not as dangerous as a cottonmouth or a diamond back, it is still very painful but very rarely fatal, my own Grandpa was struck and bitten at least 9 times, he was an cowboy and range rider for many years. Also know as the prairie rattler its scientific name is Crotalus viridis and is quite common in south east Alberta, Canada especially in the coulees along the rivers.
