Rabbit, Magpie, Fox and “The Golden Goose Egg”. Rabbit, Magpie, and Fox found a glowing golden egg in a grassy clearing. Rabbit wanted to return it, Magpie wanted to keep it, and Fox wanted to sell it for riches. When they heard a faint peep from inside, they stopped arguing and listened. Realizing a baby was growing inside, they built a warm nest from dried grass and guarded it through the night. In the morning, a golden gosling hatched and its mother arrived, overjoyed. Together through the starry night, They kept the egg safe, held it tight. When dawn revealed a gosling new, The forest filled with morning hue. - Not treasure kept nor gold that glows But kindness is the light that grows.
