Papa is wearing spectacles and having a cup of tea. There's a horse pull toy on the stone floor next to a three legged stool. A ladder goes to a loft with a bed covered in a checkered quilt. The front door has a knocker shaped like a fox and the name beneath reads, "B. RAT". This vintage illustration is from 1906.
