It's a very nice hardback spiral with good quality all around. There isn't any fish or animal print in the background like the picture shows which was a happy surprise, but I would've been fine with it either way. There's no dividers or table of contents, just straight to the recipe pages and there is about 60 pages, they are thick and sturdy. The spiral is strong and good quality as well, I just went with black. The quality and print are amazing, super cute and nice looking. I was super upset with the color, the dark green looks basically black. I would've gone with a lighter color if I knew it wouldn't be anything like the picture. There is almost a texture/design of the cover (the book is smooth, just the look of it) and it is kind of like washed or painted look, that's the only way I can describe it but that gives it more character. Thats the only thing making it not look completely black, in the right light you can see the dark green. Debating whether or not to exchange it because everything is perfect but the cover, the part we will see the most!!
