This black and red mandala has a lovely geometric design that gives this terrific tie an Aztec kind of feel. The concentric circles also give a noir look, like rain drops on a windshield on a dark night.
Actually, this design is from the Art Moderne Movement; a late Art Deco style from the 1930's. I can see Sam Spade in this.

Excellent color block/ contrast. I intend to wear this tie with a black suit. I really like the red dot inside the black are near the top of the knot because it will be two hues against the white dress shirt. It is a very nice tie.
