Red Cardinal in flight Ceramic Tile

This Red Cardinal in flight is part of a collection, or series of wild birds in the U.S.A. Each bird has two variations, one standing still and one in flight, this gives you a choice if you prefer a static bird or one in flight, or you can choose both because they compliment one another. The idea behind this is to revive the look of a plain white tiled wall by inserting a single picture tile at random points, which can really transform a splashback or a whole wall. My themed collections, or series, will include birds, thatched cottages, fruits, vegetables, farm animals and more. Each set will have at least six variations, this allows one to transform a wall with many individual picture tiles, or just a simple splashback with one or two individual tiles. By looking at the comparison between a simple white tiled wall and one with picture tiles you can see how big a difference this can make to a room.
