Oriental peach / plum blossoms, spring flowers in deep red, ivory and white with a simple round double happiness symbol. An elegant and romantic floral chinese themed wedding photo save the date announcement design which is whimsical, modern and classy for the engaged asian couple.
Peach blossoms (桃花 in chinese) / plum blossoms (梅 ume in japanese and korean / 梅花 méihuā in chinese) are similar to the cherry blossoms or sakura flowers. They bloom in early spring and symbolizes new beginnings, love and romance in chinese, japanese and korean cultures.
Double happiness (shuang xi) is an auspicious traditional symbol used in all chinese weddings.

The matter paper is our sample of choice -- it's a reasonably priced, good quality, nice feeling paper stock. We were a little concerned the muted rustic blues might not reproduce all that well (usually by light colored samples), but they're just gorgeous! The white lettering is perfect in combination with the blue background, and the typography is all easy to read.
