This design is based on Albrecht Dürer's 1508 drawing of the same name. I like to think these were the artists hands, clasped in prayer, giving thanks or looking for inspiration. It's more likely though that these hands belonged to a model. Faith, love, religion, trust, belief, salvation, how these things are portrayed in art fascinates me. I think it is fair to say that this image is one that could be recognized in almost any culture. Putting our hands together is such a strong symbol, is it stronger if we do it together?

Very lovely garden flower design on dark green background. The design is inviting! Hard to refrain from using them up the minute they arrive. Rich dark hues on heavyweight cardstock. The flower design is bright and really pops against the dark green background. I love these cards!

I love the detail of the art and the explanation inside of each sorrow. I hoped the pictures would be a little bit bigger. It was very hard to see each one in the beginning, and my eyes had to adjust. But overall awesome, thanks so much for this!! Printing was good. Just make sure to go thru it again. In 3: change the word lost to “at the loss” and then after number 1 Hail Mary, there are two ”y’s” after that delete if you want to delete those to make it cleaner.
