Inspired by the Russian painting this is red puppy's take on the apotheosis of war. Vasily Vereshchagin was known for his graphic style and we've tried to take it further giving the pile of skulls a supernatural feel and enhancing the colors throughout the image. The crimson tint in the shadows adds to the deathly effect. Apotheosis can mean model of excellence, or perfection, having no equal. Vereshchagin's skull memorial definitely delivers a striking message. The artist had exhibitions and reproduction of his work banned in Russia leading him to burn his own work in protest.

Good quality dark Heather gray, Gildan brand shirt. -it was next up from basic choice and cost about $20 per shirt. Not too thick or thin. Washed and dried well, no major shrinkage. Not see-through. Can wear a bra under it fine. Screen print is just as shown and well done, front and back.
