Renaissance Italian Ladies on a Balcony Jigsaw Puzzle

This design features a painting by the Italian artist Eugene de Blaas (1843–1931). It shows a group of five women standing on a balcony. They are wearing fine costumes, in a medieval style, and are adorned with elegant and expensive jewelry. They all have ample cleavages that are on display in a restrained and modest way. They are Italian noble women of the Renaissance period. The women are standing in between curtains made out of luxurious blue fabric, perhaps silk. One of the women is holding a bouquet of flowers in her hands. There is also an opulent red rug hanging over the edge of the balcony, on which they are leaning. The women are looking down from the balcony with great affection. Perhaps they are being wooed by suitors. The original art was painted in 1875.
