RETRO JAPAN 1920s Selections from “For remembrance : sixty views of sights and scenes in unique Japan” This is a photograph of a Japanese landscape that appears to have been published in the mid-1920s. They appear to have been printed as souvenirs for foreigners, after coloring the original photographs. We have carefully selected 12 of these photographs to create this calendar. Please note that the captions are from the time of publication, and that the situation 100 years ago is different from that of today. Color correction processing was performed using public domain data from the Digital Collections of the National Diet Library.
