It was one of those days when the weight of people's selfishness, deceit, and entitlement was crushing my spirit. And as I was sitting outside, seeking refuge in the evening sky wanting to be a bird and fly away, Rosey-Posey the tortoise came to me. He insisted on being snuggly next to me as by divine instruction pushing my feet off the ground and letting them rest on his back. We sat like this for a while, in quiet supportive peace. The aptitude of animals amazes me constantly, and I am so grateful and blessed for them. This special moment inspired me to share the message and create this retro-style poster. I hope that our sacred friendship moment can remind you what a true friendship is - "A good friend will support you when everyone else tries to bring you down."
