Automatons were the early imagination of self motivated, programable machines - what we now think of as Androids or Robots. The only available source of remote, portable power at the time was the spring powered pocket watch and these "Robots" were imagined to be an elaborate clockwork and were programed to repeat specific tasks like a music box or player piano. Steam power was later considered a possible power source.

The shirt is well-made; the material is soft and not too thin. The sleeves are just right. I ordered a size larger just in case and it fits as expected for a shirt that is one-size too big. Considering it will probably shrink the more it's washed, I don't mind it. The print of my job's logo looks great. I haven't noticed any bleeding or imperfections.
