Romper Room, WGN TV Chicago Doormat

Romper Room debuted on WGN in 1954 and ran until 1960. From 1961 to 1962, a nationally syndicated version aired. The local Romper Room returned a year later and ran from 1963 to 1975. The program targeted preschoolers, children five years of age or younger. "I see Bonnie," I see Larry," I see Susie," and "I see YOU!"
