Rossetti Venus Verticordia CC0704 Card

Greeting card inspired by a painting by Dante Gabriel Rossetti (Venus Verticordia, c. 1868). The title, 'Venus, turner of hearts', derives from Latin literature, where it designates the role of Venus, goddess of love and beauty, in turning women's hearts towards virtue. Rossetti, however, interpreted it in the opposite sense, to mean turning men's hearts away from fidelity. You can customize the texts on the card, simply by typing over the example text underneath the 'Edit this design template' heading.

As a designer, I love the quality of the fine paper Zazzle uses. The matte eggshell stock is heavy, feels great in the hands, and shows someone you really care to send the best. Zazzle printing does beautifully saturated color with no bleed-through on their quality card stocks.
