Since 2018, I've had replies on social media and even my YouTube channel (paraphrasing) "Ontario is a corporation" and even some alternate media journalists have touted similar untruths e.g. Candice Malcolm "Journalist, broadcaster, author, entrepreneur, Founder of True North and Juno News" according to her X (formerly Twitter) profile. She even posted Feb 2, 2025: "Canada isn’t really a country. It’s a decentralized federation where provincial gatekeepers have built protectionist fiefdoms." Source: https://x.com/CandiceMalcolm/status/1886156325433864333 I have replied to her numerous times (which she either does not see or chooses to ignore): https://x.com/maggini_19/status/1886313811851792432 It's become such a popular, ongoing lie, that Criminal defence and human rights lawyer Nicholas Wansbutter spoke to Tamara Ugolini (another alternative media journalist) to explain "how this notion that Canada is a corporation and not a real country has become misconstrued and misrepresented". According to the Ontario Superior Court, Rule of Law is a fundamental Constitutional Principle and a holy book could not override the system of positive laws which govern Canada.
