Rustic Raven On Inner Birch Bark Otterbox iPhone Case
A digital recreation of a simple Raven (Corvus corax) image formed by carefully scraping off the reddish outer surface on the reverse side of birchbark to reveal the lighter, yellowish layer beneath. This is a traditional craft among Native Americans/First Nations across the northern United States and Canada.
I do not claim to be a Native artist. Having lived in the North much of my life I appreciate the many uses of the Birch (Betula spp.) and find the technique simulated on this image to be very beautiful.

loving my new phone case. i had a cheap phone case for a couple months and the paint or color wore off and made a mess and hard to clean and didnt really help with protecting my phone except add wight and thickness. so i made my own phone case and now it adds a little more grip to my phone and protection. it took forever to make but totaly worth it because i added my own touch to my phone case instead of spending $100reds of dollars on a dull one. looks amazing the green is a touch off but thats becuse if printing CMYK vs RGB
