Rusty Metal Siding Old Industrial Building Postcard

This is an old industrial building / storage shed in the old part of the city of Gatineau (Hull) Quebec. The metal siding has acquired some wondrous hues as it oxidizes and returns to its organic state over the change of seasons. The wrinkles and creases in the weathered rusted metal are becoming hard to distinguish from the man-made marks. It's a fascinating tableau of organic shapes and textures as creation and destruction dance in eternal rhythm and nature takes her course, leaving us with ever-changing visuals and patterns, colors of earthy red, orange, deep blues, purple tones, aqua and pale creamy shades, flaking and peeling, sagging and buckling. This small section of the siding on the old industrial outbuilding is a random detail giving us a special glimpse into Mother Nature's creative process.
