SACRED WILDERNESS Collection Tote Bag

This image features a sacred Haida canoe moored on a moonlit lake, with Ravens featuring as symbols of mysticism and power. The Moon's smiling face was created from a Haida Totem Pole design depicting the Moon. Based upon the design "The Sacred Canoe", this design is shared in various formats to spread the message of the sacredness of Wildlife and of our Wild Places. The Haida First Nations people know so well how fragile the balance of nature is. This is why I often use First Nations symbols to depict the beauty of our natural places and the precious animals that inhabit them. If we can learn to live in harmony with Nature and not at odds with her, we will have the chance to repair the damage caused by pollution, over mining, drilling and clear-cutting of our vast forest lands. If we continue on our present course, the planet will descend into a grave imbalance that cannot be restored.
