Fishy Philosophy On another note, although this is a humorous display of a metaphor for the cliche, "Life is hard," how do we know life is hard? Humans seem to say this quite a bit as if they've done this before, have memory of it, and understand life to be hard. Yes, we have difficult moments and seasons of strife, sadness, or even fear and misery, but those are moments or time periods. LIFE is not an event that can be hard. Life is an experience that just 'is,' and we are all walking it. Choosing to look at it as hard anyway? No worries. It will be over soon. :)
