This is a view from the Treasure Loop Trail in the foothills of the Superstition Mountains just outside of the Lost Dutchman State Park in Apache Junction, Arizona. The Superstition Mountains are purported to have a fortune in gold hidden somewhere in this vast wilderness by "the Dutchman", German prospector Jacob Waltz, who died taking the location of his hidden gold with him.
