Sailboat Abstract Watercolor with Blue Sky and Fluffy White Clouds Ocean Sky Background - CricketDiane Ocean Art - Experimenting with the Sailboat Sailing Watercolor Abstract as a Design - This sailboat was painted in an abstract style along with several others that I did and it had several other names. In one version, I reversed the colors to make the sky black which is nice too and it was also used in a series of step-by-step pictures as it was painted. Those might be on my blog somewhere, I don't remember now . . . Regardless, I like it and the painting makes a beautiful way of expressing the experiences of sailing, the moments, the sky, the sails, the winds and the sea . . . It was also used for the cover of a sailing association newsletter / brochure thing where they asked me to use it because they liked the look of it. Very nifty . . .. Originally, I when I painted this painting, it was done in watercolors.
