"Sailing" Art Ornament
"Sailing" is a mixed media painting made with molding paste and acrylics. It started out as an abstract in bright colors and then I saw this sail boat appear. I changed directions from bright reds, pinks and yellows to blues, whites and golds. The painting was a process, layers of paint and countless hours finally brought me here. The movement of the waves and the abstract nature of the boat make it a piece that begs for a story. Maybe an old sailor or captain has a tale to add to it.
