Minomoto no Yorimitsu was a 9th/10th century Japanese warrior famous for many exploits, including his defeat of the great oni king, Shutendōji. Here he is depicted fighting oni with a companion, in a reproduction of an 1858 woodblock print by Utagawa Yoshitsuya.
