Santa's Own - 1st Polar Airlift Squadron Apron
This is the apron worn by the elves who prepare Santa's in-flight meals. The unit patch of the mythical 1st Polar Airlift Squadron to which are assigned Santa's eight reindeer: Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen.
A reindeer (caribou) appears within a red ring. White text reading, "1ST POLAR AIRLIFT SQUADRON" and the squadron motto, "UNA NOCTA TOTIUS MUNDI" (Latin: The entire world in one night) appears on the ring. Text reading, "Santa's Own" appears below the Reindeer. Everything is superimposed on a starry background. Add your own additional text.
The First Polar Airlift Squadron (1st PAS) has a long and storied history. Based at the North Pole the 1st PAS is best known for providing airlift for Santa Claus during his annual, global, nocturnal delivery using venerable, reliable air-mobile Reindeer (aka Caribou - Rangifer tarandus) generally deployed in teams of eight. For operations during inclement weather the squadron maintains one Reindeer equipped with a "RUDOLPH" enhanced red navigation lighting system.
For heavylift missions at other times of the year the 1st PAS also maintains a fleet of air-mobile Moose (Alces alces).

Great color and even though I ordered the kid size, it covers well enough to use during the holidays. I am not a big woman and prefer a shorter apron. I stand 5"6" and the length of the garment goes to mid-thigh. The tie straps fit well at my waist and even though there is no neck strap adjustment, the opening is plenty big enough. I am happy with the size and fit. I am sharing my apron with my 10 year old grandson, too! The color is vibrant and looks good, as shown on the website. The stitching looks strong and reinforced. Photographed is front side and back side of the apron, reinforced straps and coloring. My phone camera may not be the best at showing the details.
