Sapphire Terra Postcard

A great gift for girls of all ages who love adventure and science fiction, or just girl superheroes. Sapphire Terra is dressed in a superhero costume with a layered, fluttering knee-length skirt in the colors of the planet Earth: sea-blue, green, and earthy salmon, and wears a cape. This girl character is in outer space, and behind her is the Earth and moon. She is doing a flip over the traditional symbol of the earth. In the background are abstract, painterly watercolor washes of blues, geys, and blacks. This is one of my own characters from my story. She is the superhero of the planet Earth, with her given planet and symbol. This painting was done on watercolor paper with watercolor and guache. (Character is Copyrighted Arwen de Lyon 2011.)
