In this unique, artistic wedding-themed design I've used an elegant, modern calligraphy font to create a graphic typography overlay reading ""Save the Date". Behind the text I've placed a white watercolor heart distressed in an artistic way such that your chosen background color peeks through; I've used pale pastel pink in this version. Fill in the template blanks with your own details to personalize the design. All layers were added separately and left unlocked so you can also click to customize the design as much as you wish. You may change fonts, the position of all text, size and rotation of the background layers... make this card your own!

The matter paper is our sample of choice -- it's a reasonably priced, good quality, nice feeling paper stock. We were a little concerned the muted rustic blues might not reproduce all that well (usually by light colored samples), but they're just gorgeous! The white lettering is perfect in combination with the blue background, and the typography is all easy to read.
